Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a qualified Maths Teacher for a short-term three-week assignment in Wirral, starting 2 November 2026 and ending 20 November 2026. You will teach KS3 and KS4 maths, prepare pupils for GCSE content, and work within the maths department to sustain consistent teaching across the period.

The role requires QTS or equivalent, strong maths knowledge, and solid classroom management. Daily pay is competitive, and the opportunity includes ongoing recruitment support.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience delivering Maths to KS3 and KS4, including GCSE content.
• Ability to maintain high expectations and effective behaviour management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 throughout the three-week placement.
• Cover number, algebra, geometry, statistics and probability content.
• Assess pupil understanding and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain consistent teaching and adapt to the department style.
• Collaborate with Mathematics colleagues and follow school policies.
