Job summary

Wells Cathedral School seeks a native French Foreign Languages Assistant to work approximately 8 hours per week, exclusively with Year 12 and Year 13 pupils, focusing on their preparation for the Speaking examination with the AQA exam board and grammatical and cultural understanding of the language.

The FLA would also promote languages across the school, and assist with the administration and maintenance of displays around the languages area.

Qualifications

• Native French speaker
• Experience supporting A‑Level speaking exam preparation

Responsibilities

• Support Year 12 and Year 13 pupils in Speaking exam preparation for A‑Level (AQA).
• Assist with grammatical and cultural understanding of French.
• Promote languages across Wells Cathedral School.
• Assist with administration and maintenance of language displays.
