Qualifications

• Holds QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification.
• Enhanced DBS clearance registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• Provision of professional references covering two years of employment or placements.
• Valid legal entitlement to work full-time in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-impact A Level Computer Science lessons covering theory and practical coding tasks.
• Guide and moderate individual A Level NEA programming projects in line with exam board specs and deadlines.
• Formulate structured schemes of work, homework tasks, and revision material aligned with current examination standards.
• Track student performance, set ambitious targets, and implement tailored revision plans.
• Provide consistent marking and developmental feedback for external assessments.
• Maintain an orderly, inclusive sixth-form classroom conducive to rigorous academic inquiry.
• Support students through UCAS statements, references, and STEM higher education preparation.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum enhancement and resource sharing.
