Job summary

Bristol NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the A&E reception team at Weston General Hospital. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and staff, providing friendly, professional service and accurate data input.

Qualifications

Good standard of general education.
Knowledge of office procedures including filing.
Good customer service skills for both internal and external users face to face and telephone.
Experience: Working with the public.
Previous NHS experience.

Responsibilities

Be the first point of contact for patients, visitors and other health care professionals at the ED reception, ensuring excellent customer service.
Handle telephone enquiries and accurately input data using Careflow EPR; manage appointments and registrations.
Book appointments, scan documents and answer a range of enquiries in person, by phone or email with courtesy.
Work flexibly across shifts including weekdays, evenings, weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
