Job summary
Cromwell Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Accident & Emergency nurse to join our team in Liverpool.
You will provide immediate, high-quality care in a fast-paced hospital setting, perform triage, administer treatments, and collaborate with doctors and paramedics.
The role offers flexible patterns and opportunities to work across NHS Trusts, with support for revalidation.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
- Minimum 6 months of clinical experience in an acute hospital setting (NHS experience desirable).
- Up-to-date mandatory training (e.g., BLS, Manual Handling, Infection Control).
- Right to work in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Provides immediate and high-quality care to patients presenting with urgent, acute, or life-threatening conditions.
- Work in fast-paced hospital emergency departments, delivering rapid assessments, stabilizing patients, and coordinating multidisciplinary care.
- Triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity of condition. Administer treatments such as IV fluids, medications, wound care, and resuscitation.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including observations, interventions, and outcomes
- Work closely with doctors, paramedics, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
