Cromwell Medical is seeking an experienced Accident and Emergency (A&E) nurse to join our team in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will deliver immediate clinical care, triage patients, stabilise emergencies and collaborate with doctors and paramedics.

The role offers flexible working patterns, competitive hourly rates, and the possibility to work across multiple NHS trusts with support for revalidation and professional development.

Formación

• Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
• Minimum 6 months of clinical experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Up-to-date mandatory training (BLS, Manual Handling, Infection Control).

Responsabilidades

• Provide immediate and high-quality care to patients with urgent or life-threatening conditions.
• Perform rapid assessments, stabilise patients, and coordinate multidisciplinary care.
• Triage on arrival and prioritise care based on severity of condition; administer treatments as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records including observations and outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with doctors, paramedics and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities: Clinical Care as A&E Nurse

• Provides immediate and high-quality care to patients presenting with urgent, acute, or life-threatening conditions.
• Need to work in fast-paced hospital emergency departments, delivering rapid assessments, stabilizing patients, and coordinating multidisciplinary care.
• Triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity of condition.Administer treatments such as IV fluids, medications, wound care, and resuscitation.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including observations, interventions, and outcomes
• Work closely with doctors, paramedics, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Qualifications & Requirements as A&E Nurse

• Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMCregistration.
• Minimum 6 months of clinical experience in an acute hospital setting (NHS experience desirable).
• Up-to-date mandatory training (e.g., BLS, Manual Handling, Infection Control).
• Right to work in the UK.
