Job summary

North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Support Worker (Band 3) for 37.5 hours in the Heart Centre. You will assist the nursing team in delivering high-quality patient care to cardiology patients, with duties ranging from direct patient support to maintaining a clean, safe ward environment.

Role requires a Level 3 healthcare qualification and a commitment to confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Level 3 vocational qualification in care or equivalent.
• Experience in health or social care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and bank holidays.
• Commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist registered nurses in providing high quality patient care.
• Undertake clinical activities when trained and competent.
• Maintain patients' privacy and dignity with compassionate care.
• Contribute to housekeeping and ward duties as required.
• Work under supervision of registered practitioners or assistant practitioners.
