Job summary

Driver Hire Uxbridge is seeking 7.5T (CAT C1) Drivers with low loader and plant lorry experience for temporary ad-hoc assignments near Southall. Mainly Monday-Friday day shifts with starts between 05:30-08:00.

Responsibilities include transporting plant and equipment, operating low loader/plant lorry, loading and unloading, and maintaining paperwork while adhering to site procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid UK CAT C1 (7.5T) licence with 2+ years experience and max 6 points.
• CPC and manual licence held.
• Previous low loader / plant lorry experience essential.

Driver Hire Uxbridge are recruiting 7.5T (CAT C1) Drivers with low loader and plant lorry experience for our client based near Southall

Temporary ad-hoc work - shifts are not guaranteed

£16.00-£19.00 p/h PAYE including holiday pay

Mainly Monday-Friday day shifts | Starts between 05:30-08:00

Duties:

• Transport and deliver plant, machinery and construction equipment
• Operate 7.5T low loader / plant lorry
• Load, secure and unload plant safely
• Complete collections and deliveries to customer sites
• Carry out daily vehicle and equipment checksComplete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records
• Follow all road safety and site procedures

Requirements:

• Valid UK CAT C1 (7.5T) licence for 2+ years, max 6 points (no DR, DD, TT or IN)
• Valid CPC and manual licence
• Previous low loader / plant lorry experience essential
• Experience transporting plant and construction equipment
• 90+ days CAT C1 driving experience in the last 12 months
• 25+ years old for insurance purposes
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Good communication skills and professional attitude
