Job summary

TRCGroup is recruiting for multiple 7.5 tonne drivers to join our client in Enfield. Hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 starts.

You will perform 20 collections/deliveries with manual handling, using company software to update statuses, and assist with loading/unloading as needed. Requirements include a full UK licence with 7.5t entitlement (CAT C1), 12 months experience, valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card, and no more than 6 points.

Qualifications

• Full UK licence with 7.5t entitlement (CAT C1).
• 12 months experience required.
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.
• Manual handling experience relevant to loading/unloading.

Responsibilities

• 20 collections/deliveries.
• Manual handling heavily involved including loading/unloading parcels at depots and customer locations.
• Handling devices and company software to update delivery statuses.
• Handle occasional push roller cages and assist sites with movement when required.
• Reversing in the yard and maneuvering vehicles with precision, including shunting duties.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring roadworthiness and compliance with company standards.
• Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain safety on the road.
• Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.

Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00am starts

Pay Rates: £17.61 PAYE Per Hour, over time after 40 hours £24.99 per hour PAYE
