Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is recruiting for a 7.5 tonne Home Delivery Driver in Scunthorpe. The role involves multi-drop deliveries, with installation of white goods, in a two-person team, starting early mornings. You will be expected to drive safely within legal limits and maintain high standards of customer service.

Applicants must hold a valid C1 licence, Driver CPC, and a Digital Tachograph Card, with at least 12 months 7.5t experience. DBS check and pre-employment drug/alcohol test are required.

• Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card are required.
• At least 12 months recent 7.5 tonne driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop delivery of home and garden furnishings to customers' rooms of choice.
• Work in a 2-person team; role includes installation of white goods such as washing machines and dishwashers.
• Drive safely and in line with Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive, and road regulations.
• Adhere to health and safety standards at all times.

Shift patterns: Working Tuesday to Saturday - starting at 6am

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Multi-drop delivery of home and garden furnishings, to customers room of choice
• Working in a 2-person team, this is a physically demanding role which also includes installation of white goods such as washing machines and dishwashers
• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Hold a valid 7.5 tonne Driving Licence (C1), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Have 12 months recent 7.5 tonne driving experience
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
