Job summary

DHL Germany's DHL Supply Chain is seeking a delivery driver in Darlington, DL3 0UR. Join a two-person crew delivering furniture and appliances directly to customers' homes, providing outstanding service and a real difference every day.

You will install items, handle bulky loads, and keep safety at the forefront while following Drivers' Hours rules. All levels welcome; full-time permanent role with benefits include a strong pension, GP access, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid 7.5T (C1) licence, Driver CPC, and Tachograph card.
• Enjoy interacting with customers and delivering excellent service.
• Active role with movement throughout the day.
• Delivery or home delivery experience is beneficial.
• All levels of experience welcome.

Responsibilities

• Deliver furniture and household goods to customers’ homes.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Delivering furniture, appliances and household goods directly to customers' homes
• Working as part of a dedicated two-person delivery team
• Installing wet goods and appliances (full training provided)
• Handling large and bulky items safely and professionally
• Creating a positive experience for customers at every delivery
• Driving safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Following industry-leading health and safety standards and vehicle compliance requirements

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO...
