GXO Logistics, Inc. is recruiting a full-time 7.5T Delivery Driver for our Home Delivery team in Warrington, WA2 7NT. The role operates on a 3-week rotating shift pattern with early start times between 05:00 and 06:30, delivering furniture to customer homes and handling returns.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK driving licence with 7.5T entitlement.
• Valid Driver Qualification Card required.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card required.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• No endorsements (DR/DG/DD/BA/CD/LC/TT99) in last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle in line with road traffic and vehicle legislation.
• Deliver and install furniture items, handling products carefully including some handballing.
• Log and collect product returns during deliveries.
• Complete tachographs in compliance with legal/company requirements.
• Perform pre- and post-journey vehicle checks and report defects.
• Ensure vehicle and stock are secured at all times.

Here atGXO Logistics, we are looking for a full-time, permanent7.5T Delivery Driver,to join our Home Delivery team inWarrington, WA2 7NT.

You’ll be working on a full time, permanent basis on a 3 week rotating shift pattern: Week 1, Monday to Thursday. Week 2, Wednesday to Saturday. Week 3, split Monday/Tuesday then Friday/Saturday (4 working days) contracted to work48 hoursper week, with the start time window between05:00 and 06:30you will be responsible for delivering products to customer homes.

All successful candidates will require a DBS clearance.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Safely operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle in full compliance with road traffic and vehicle legislation
• Deliver and installing furniture items , ensuring all products are handled correctly, including some hand balling involved
• Collect and accurately log product returns during deliveries
• Complete tachographs in compliance with legal and company requirements
• Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle checks and promptly report any defects
• Ensuring the vehicle and stock are always properly secured

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A full UK driving licence with category 7.5T entitlement
• A valid Driver Qualification Card
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 current penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
• Excellent Time management skills and comfortable in working to deadlines, excellent communication and customer service skills are essential
