Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Motherwell is seeking a delivery driver to join a two-person crew delivering furniture, appliances and household goods to customers’ homes.

You will install wet goods and appliances with full training, handle large items safely, and ensure a high standard of customer service. A valid 7.5T/C1 licence, Driver CPC and Tachograph card are required; all experience levels welcome.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid 7.5T (C1) Licence, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Enjoy interacting with customers and delivering excellent service.
• Enjoy active roles that keep you moving throughout the day.
• Take pride in delivering high standards and doing the job right first time.
• Delivery/installation or home delivery experience is beneficial but not essential.
• All levels of experience welcome to apply.

Shift Pattern: Any 5 from 7

Start Times: Between 05:00am – 10:00am

Pay & Earnings

• Annual Basic Salary: £39,985.02
• Hourly Rate : £16.02
• Overtime: x1.5 and x2 Rates Available

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Delivering furniture, appliances and household goods directly to customers' homes
• Working as part of a dedicated two-person delivery team
• Installing wet goods and appliances (full training provided)
• Handling large and bulky items safely and professionally
• Creating a positive experience for customers at every delivery
• Driving safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Following industry-leading health and safety standards and vehicle compliance requirements
