Job summary

The Best Connection are recruiting HGV 7.5T drivers to join the Newton Aycliffe depot on immediate-start shifts. You will perform collections and deliveries with a fixed North East route, supporting a modern fleet and loading duties as required.

Shift pattern is Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:45, with overtime available after 40 hours at enhanced rates. A UK driving licence, Driver CPC and Tachograph card are essential, with a minimum of 6 months 7.5T experience.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC, for on/off site driving.
• Valid Driver Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 6 months' experience driving 7.5T vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Make collections and deliveries.
• Average of ~10 runs per shift.
• Fixed route each day in the North East region.
• Manual handling: loading/unloading parcels at depot and customer locations.
• Use devices and company software to update delivery statuses and communicate with the depot.
