Job summary

Driver Hire Warwick is recruiting reliable and experienced 7.5T / C1 Drivers for an established operation delivering and installing display cases at business premises across the area. Early 5:00am starts and the role offers great pay with a typical 10-hour day, £16.25 per hour and minimum 8 hours' pay guaranteed.

You’ll be responsible for driving a 7.5T vehicle, loading/unloading display cases, assisting with positioning inside customer premises and providing friendly customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid Category C1 / 7.5T driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• At least 12 months’ 7.5T driving experience.
• Reliable, professional and positive attitude.
• Flexibility for 5:00am starts.
• Willingness to perform physical/manual handling.
• Experience in deliveries or logistics is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Deliver display cases to businesses and position them safely inside premises.
• Drive a 7.5T vehicle safely and unload/display cases.
• Move items by rolling, pushing and positioning as required.
• Navigate obstacles and maintain safe manual handling practices.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service.

What will the job involve?

You’ll be responsible for delivering display cases to businesses and helping position them safely inside customer premises. No two deliveries are necessarily the same, so you’ll need to enjoy a hands-on role.

Your duties will include:

• Driving a 7.5T vehicle safely and responsibly
• Loading and unloading display cases
• Rolling, pushing and positioning items at customer premises
• Negotiating kerbs, access points and other obstacles
• Carrying out manual handling duties
• Providing friendly, professional customer service

This is an active, physical role, so it’s ideal for someone who enjoys being on the move rather than sitting behind the wheel all day. You’ll need to be comfortable with lifting, pushing and manoeuvring heavier items, working safely and supporting your colleagues with deliveries.
