Job summary

Greencore Group in Stonehouse is hiring a delivery driver to join our nationwide team. You will start around 4am, handle daily stock deliveries and be part of a schedule that includes Mondays to Saturdays with a fixed rest day and no Sunday work.

You must hold a full UK driving licence with up to 6 points and have at least six months HGV experience (7.5T and above). Overtime is paid after 42 hours at time and a quarter. On‑the‑job training and progression opportunities are provided.

• HGV experience (7.5T and upwards) preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Make daily deliveries to stores as part of Greencore's nationwide team.
• Work five days per week including mandatory Saturdays with a fixed day off; no Sunday work.
• On‑the‑job training provided and you will be paired with another driver at start.

Shift Times: 4am Start Time

Pay Rate: £14.90 per hour (+ £1.15 for any hours worked between 10pm and 6am)

Shift Pattern: Monday to Saturday with a fixed rest day

Workload: On average between 20 to 30 drops per day

Overtime: Overtime Premium are payable after 42 hours at time and a quarter

All routes are planned in between 8 to 12 hours long.

Stonehouse: A distribution depot serving convenience retailers and forecourts in the region. The depot operates a fleet of 21 vehicles on 31 routes.

What you'll be doing: From the simple sandwich to a range of chilled foods, our customers need fresh stock daily and you could be part of our nationwide team making some of those 3.5 million deliveries each year and keeping Britain fed. You would be expected to work five days per week, which would include mandatory Saturdays. With this shift pattern there will be no Sunday work and a fixed working day off. On-the-job training is provided and you will be partnered up with another team member to start with.
