Job summary

Manpower (United Kingdom) seeks reliable 7.5t drivers for Swansea location. You will operate 7.5t vehicles on planned routes, delivering mail, parcels and freight while maintaining schedules and safety. Daily vehicle checks and accurate records are required.

Roles involve loading/unloading, independent work with team coordination, and adherence to road transport laws, health and safety, and company policies. Various shifts available, with a strong emphasis on reliability and customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid UK C1 driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
• 1 year previous 7.5t driving experience in logistics or distribution.
• Strong understanding of UK road transport legislation and vehicle safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 7.5t vehicles on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
• Transport mail, parcels and freight efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Load and unload vehicles safely and ensure security of goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently while communicating with the operations team.
• Follow all road transport legislation, health and safety regulations and company policies.

What you'll be doing

• Safely operate 7.5t vehicles on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
• Transport mail, parcels and freight efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles safely while ensuring the security of all goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently while maintaining excellent communication with the wider operations team.
• Follow all road transport legislation, health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Multiple drops per shift, depending on route assigned.

What we're looking for

• Valid UK C1 driving licence.
