Qualifications

• Valid UK C1 driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
• At least 1 year driving 7.5t in logistics or distribution.
• Good knowledge of UK road transport law and vehicle safety.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 7.5t vehicles on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
• Transport mail, parcels and freight efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects per procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles safely while ensuring goods' security.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Communicate effectively with the operations team.
• Follow road transport regulations and company policies.
• Perform multiple drops per shift depending on route.

What you'll be doing

• Load and unload vehicles safely while ensuring the security of all goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently while maintaining excellent communication with the wider operations team.
• Follow all road transport legislation, health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Multiple drops per shift, depending on route assigned.

What we're looking for
