Job summary

Manpower is recruiting a reliable 7.5t Driver for Swindon, SN3 5TG, on a temporary, ongoing basis. You'll operate 7.5t vehicles between distribution centres and delivery sites, with varied shifts and competitive hourly rates.

Ideal candidates have UK C1 licence, Driver CPC, Tachograph card, and at least 1 year 7.5t experience in logistics. Join a trusted nationwide operation with full support from a leading recruitment agency.

Qualifications

• Valid UK C1 driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
• 1 year previous 7.5t driving experience in logistics.
• Knowledge of UK road transport legislation and vehicle safety.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Reliable, professional and customer-focused.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 7.5t vehicles on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
• Transport mail, parcels and freight efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Load and unload vehicles safely while ensuring the security of all goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently while maintaining communication with the operations team.
• Follow road transport legislation and safety policies.
• Multiple drops per shift, depending on route assigned.
