Job summary

Manpower is recruiting a reliable 7.5t driver for a Rochester-based role. You will operate 7.5t vehicles on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations, ensuring timely deliveries and accurate records.

The position requires a valid UK C1 licence, Driver CPC, and Tachograph Card, with at least two years of 7.5t experience in logistics. Competitive hourly pay is offered, with ongoing work and full PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Valid UK C1 driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 5 penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
• 2 years of 7.5t driving experience in logistics or distribution.
• Strong understanding of UK road transport legislation and vehicle safety.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 7.5t vehicles on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
• Transport mail, parcels and freight efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Load and unload vehicles safely while ensuring the security of all goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently while maintaining communication with the wider operations team.
• Follow all road transport legislation, health and safety regulations and company policies.

Hourly Rate: £17.55 - £27.52 per hour
