Job summary

Swift Temps is looking for an experienced 7.5T Delivery Driver for a Daventry operation. The role involves multi-drop deliveries to commercial customers, including white goods, with heavy lifting and the use of tail lift equipment. Early starts at 5–6am and an average 9-hour shift are expected.

Applicants should hold a valid 7.5T licence (C1), CPC and Tachograph card, with multi-drop experience preferred. A positive attitude and clean record are required, with potential temp-to-perm progression.

Qualifications

• Valid 7.5T (Category C1) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Previous multi-drop experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of driver hours and road safety regulations.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• No criminal record - a check will be done.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-drop deliveries to commercial customers including white goods.
• Use tail lift and trolley for loads.
• Carry out early starts around 5–6am; typical shift ~9 hours.
• Ensure timely and safe deliveries and complete delivery paperwork.
• Conduct vehicle checks and maintain high standards of paperwork.
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery points.

The Role
