Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking a 7.5T Delivery Driver for a busy operation in Basingstoke. The role is a TEMP-TO-PERM opportunity with a start time of 06:45am and a finish around 6:00pm, delivering heavy domestic appliances to customers in the local area.

Rates are £14.40 per hour with a flexible 5 on/3 off pattern where possible. Applicants should have a valid 7.5T/C1 licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph, and be comfortable with heavy manual handling and customer-facing delivery duties.

Qualifications

• Valid 7.5T/C1 licence with CPC and Digital Tachograph compliance.
• Previous 7.5T driving experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and reliability essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to customers across local and surrounding areas.
• Handle up to 25 drops per day with care and efficiency.
• Drive and perform loading/unloading with a 2-person team when required.
• Provide a professional and friendly service to customers.

7.5T Delivery Driver – Basingstoke- Temp to Perm

We are currently recruiting 7.5T Delivery Drivers for a busy and well-established operation in Basingstoke.

This is a TEMP-TO–PERM opportunity!

This is a hands-on driving role, ideal for an experienced 7.5T driver who enjoys being out on the road and doesn't mind getting stuck in with the deliveries.

Location: Basingstoke
Pay: £14.40 per hour
Shift Pattern: Ideally 5 on / 3 off
Start Time: 06:45am
Finish: Approximately 6:00pm, depending on route completion

The Role

• Start time is 06:45am
• Job and knock, with finishes typically around 6:00pm
• Delivering to customers across the local and surrounding areas
• Up to 25 drops per day
• Delivering large domestic appliances including fridge freezers, washing machines and similar items
• Items can weigh up to 170kg
• Significant manual handling involved, often working as part of a 2-person delivery team
• Loading/unloading the vehicle and safely delivering goods into customers' homes
• Providing a professional and friendly service to customers

Working Pattern

We are looking for drivers who can be fully flexible wherever possible.

The operation can work on a 5 days on / 3 days off pattern, including weekends, so flexibility around working days is important.
