Job summary

The Job People are seeking a committed 7.5 tonne driver to join their Wednesbury-based logistics team. The role combines driving with warehouse duties, roughly 60% driving and 40% stores work, within a factory setting.

Offers include weekly pay and a genuine permanent position. Immediate start available for a full-time role, with regular daytime hours Monday to Friday and free parking on site.

Qualifications

• Must hold relevant driving licence, CPC, and Digi card.
• FLT counterbalance experience is advantageous.
• Able to work in a logistics and warehouse environment.
• Excellent team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Drive 7.5 tonne truck for local deliveries and collections.
• Load and unload the vehicle; operate as part of the warehouse team.
• Assist with order picking and basic paperwork.
• Maintain the factory supplied with work and keep records up to date.

7.5 Tonne Driver

Immediate start - based in Wednesbury

£14.00 to £14.50 per hour - depending on experience - Must hold Digi card and CPC

Will be part of the warehouse/logistics team - so the role will involve stores / warehouse work as well as driving - approx 60% of the role will be 7.5 tonne driving

Days Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4pm and Friday 7.30am to 1pm - weekly pay

Genuine permanent position available

Duties of a 7.5 tonne Driver

Will be working for a factory / engineering company based in Wednesbury - working as part of the logistics team

• Driving 7.5 tonne truck - making deliveries and collections - locally
• Loading and unloading the vehicle - ideally with a FLT counterbalance
• Order picking parts
• Basic paperwork
• Keeping the factory provided with work

Experience required for a 7.5 tonne driver

• Must hold relevant driving licence
• CPC and digi card
• Aware of transport laws and legislation's
• FLT counterbalance licence or experience would be advantageous
• Team player
• Good communication skills
• Logistics distribution and supply chain experience an advantage
