Job summary

Driver Hire Leeds West is seeking experienced 7.5 Tonne Drivers for ongoing assignments with a range of clients in the Leeds West area.

Expect varied work including multi-drop deliveries, load securing with ratchet straps, and handling loads while using PDAs for documentation. Strong customer service and physical fitness are important to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• New Pass candidates can be considered.
• Experience with ratchet straps and load securing.
• Familiarity with PDAs for delivery management.
• Willingness for manual handling and handballing.
• Good level of physical fitness and customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 7.5 Tonne loads across Leeds West with varied assignments.
• Perform 20–30 multi-drop deliveries per day across the region.
• Secure loads using ratchet straps and check PDA records.
• Provide excellent customer service at each drop.

Are you an experienced and versatile 7.5 tonne driver looking for diverse and rewarding opportunities? Driver Hire Leeds West is actively seeking dedicated 7.5 Tonne Drivers to join our team, working with a range of valued clients across the Leeds West area. This is ongoing work, offering consistent assignments with reputable businesses.

No two days are the same in these roles. We partner with a variety of companies, giving you access to varied and interesting assignments. You could be:

• Supporting a busy local delivery company, completing 20-30 multi drop deliveries per day across the region.
• Transporting tools, equipment, and mixed goods, using ratchet straps confidently to secure loads.
• Providing excellent customer service at each drop, using PDAs for accurate tracking and paperwork.
• Taking part in manual handling and handballing, so a good level of physical fitness is essential.

Across all assignments, you'll play a key role in ensuring goods are delivered safely, professionally, and on time. If you thrive on variety and enjoy being an essential part of different operations, this is the perfect opportunity.

What we're looking for
