Job summary

Pertemps Banbury in Bicester is seeking a 7.5 Tonne Driver to support a food distribution operation. You will load, multi-drop deliveries, and provide friendly service while keeping the vehicle well-maintained.

The role requires a UK Cat C1 licence, CPC, and digicard, plus experience with 7.5-tonne vans. Ad hoc shifts offer flexible working patterns for active drivers.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Cat C1 driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• A valid CPC card.
• A Valid digicard.
• Previous experience driving a 7.5-tonne van.
• Good knowledge of the UK road network.
• A reliable, flexible, and positive approach to work.
• Good communication skills and excellent customer service.
• A willingness to work on an ad hoc basis as shifts become available.

Responsibilities

• Load your van and ensure deliveries are safely secured.
• Complete multi-drop deliveries to food service and hospitality customers.
• Provide a professional and friendly service at every delivery.
• Keep your vehicle clean, tidy, and roadworthy.
• Handle and lift products weighing up to 25kg.

Pay rate: £14.50p.h

Start Times: Approx 4am

Pertemps are recruiting 7.5 Tonne Van Drivers to work on an ad hoc basis, supporting a leading food distribution company based in Bicester. If you are looking to enjoy the flexibility of ad hoc shifts, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and friendly operation.

Pay Rate:

£14.50 per hour

Minimum 8-hour shift guarantee

The role

As part of the delivery team, you will play an important role in keeping customers stocked with fresh food and hospitality supplies. Your duties will include:

• Loading your van and ensuring deliveries are safely secured.
• Completing multi-drop deliveries to food service and hospitality customers.
• Providing a professional and friendly service at every delivery.
• Keeping your vehicle clean, tidy, and roadworthy.
• Handling and lifting products weighing up to 25kg.

Requirements for the role

• A full UK cat C1 driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements).
• A valid CPC card
• A Valid digicard
• Previous experience driving a 7.5-tonne van with confidence.
• Good knowledge of the UK road network.
• A reliable, flexible, and positive approach to work.
• Good communication skills and excellent customer service.
• A willingness to work on an ad hoc basis as shifts become available.
