Job summary

New Appointments Group in Tonbridge is seeking a 7.5T Driver for a temp-to-perm role. You will undertake multi-drop deliveries across the UK, with manual handling and loading/unloading of goods.

Pay is £13.24 per hour, overtime £16.70 after 45 hours. Nights out allowance £50 per night. Regular overnight stays may be required.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months' experience driving a 7.5T vehicle.
• Valid Driver CPC (DCPC).
• Aged 25 or over for insurance purposes.
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Willing to overnight stay when required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to various locations across the UK with multi-drop deliveries.

We are currently recruiting for a 7.5T Driver on a temp-to-perm basis for our client based in Tonbridge.

This is a physically demanding role involving the loading and unloading of heavy goods, so applicants must be comfortable with manual handling. You will be delivering to various locations across the UK, completing multi-drop deliveries, with the number of drops varying depending on your route.

This role also requires regular overnight stays, with up to three nights out per week, for which a £50 nightly allowance is paid.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months' experience driving a 7.5T vehicle
• Valid Driver CPC (DCPC)
• Aged 25 or over for insurance purposes
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling
• Flexible to complete overnight stays when required
