Job summary

Ignition is seeking a 7.5 tonne driver to join their Kirkliston operation. You will deliver alcohol to stores and hospitality venues, handle collections, and manage loading/unloading parcels on a regular route. A valid UK driving licence with 12 months’ experience, DCPC, and Digi-tacho are required; visa support is not offered.

Role offers PAYE or limited company arrangements, with weekly pay and site induction. Various shifts Monday to Friday starting around 06:00 are available.

Qualifications

• UK driving licence with at least 12 months experience in a 7.5t vehicle.
• DCPC card is required and valid.
• Digi-tacho card is required and valid.
• No visa assistance; UK resident only.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 7.5 tonne vehicle to deliver alcohol to stores and hospitality venues.
• Perform collections (handball and pallet) and cage work.
• Load and unload parcels and complete standard route paperwork.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle checks and maintain logs.

About you

• You will have yourfull UK Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience in commercial driving in a 7.5 tonne vehicle.
• You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.
• Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not acceptDD, TT, DR, CD, INendorsements.
• As a professional driver, you will have a good knowledge of the Working Time Directive and be able to manage your hours accordingly.
• You will be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs) and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.
