Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment is seeking reliable 7.5 Tonne Drivers to join our Kirkliston team for a beverage distribution client.

You will drive a 7.5 tonne vehicle, deliver alcohol to stores and hospitality venues, perform collections, loading/unloading parcels, and complete route paperwork with pre/post checks. UK licence, DCPC and Digi-tacho are required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held for any 12+ months in a 7.5 tonne vehicle.
• Must have DCPC (Driver CPC) card and Digi-tacho card.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 7.5 tonne vehicle to deliver alcohol to stores and hospitality venues.
• Perform collections (handball and pallet) and cage work.
• Load and unload parcels and complete standard route paperwork.
• Conduct pre- and post-route vehicle checks.

Experience: 6 months commercial driving = preferred

HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver - The role & responsibilities:

• Driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle
• Delivering alcohol to stores and hospitality venues
• Collections (handball and pallet)
• Cage Work
• Loading + unloading parcels
• Standard route paperwork
• Pre & post route vehicle checks

About you:

You will have your full UK Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience in commercial driving in a 7.5 tonne vehicle. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional driver, you will have a good knowledge of the Working Time Directive and be able to manage your hours accordingly.

You will be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs) and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.
