Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide is seeking an experienced 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver for a temporary role covering the Preston area. The position offers up to 35 hours per week with a Monday to Friday schedule and a daily start at 8:30am, finishing at 5:30pm, delivering reliably and safely.

Applicants must hold a valid UK manual driving licence with C1 entitlement for 7.5T, have prior 7.5T driving experience, and be able to lift up to 20kg. DBS check and tachograph card are required for employment.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with category C1 entitlement (7.5T) with no more than 6 points.
• Previous experience driving a 7.5T vehicle essential.
• Good knowledge of York and surrounding areas.
• Physically fit with ability to lift parcels up to 20kg.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Ability to pass a DBS (criminal background) check.
• You will also need to provide a Valid Tachograph card.

Responsibilities

• Securely manage all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items in line with Royal Mail business standards.
