Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide in Preston is seeking an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to join Pertemps on a temporary basis. You will deliver parcels across the local area, perform vehicle checks, and plan routes to ensure on-time drops.

Hours are up to 35 per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, with a pay rate of £16.43 per hour. Applicants must hold a full UK manual licence (C1) with up to six penalty points and have prior 7.5T experience.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with C1 entitlement (7.5T) and up to 6 points.
• Experience driving a 7.5T vehicle is essential.
• Good customer service and reliable, outdoors work capability.
• Ability to pass a DBS check and hold a valid Tachograph card.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parcels across the local area and complete drops on schedule.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and routine loading tasks.
• Plan routes to ensure timely deliveries and maintain accuracy.
• Work up to 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, outdoors.
