Flexible People Ltd is recruiting for an experienced 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver to join a leading distribution business in Middleton. The role offers consistent weekday work, ongoing full-time hours and the opportunity to join a professional delivery team.

You will be responsible for multi-drop deliveries, vehicle checks and maintaining high customer service standards while ensuring safety and compliance with transport regulations.

Qualifications

• UK driving licence with C1 entitlement (7.5T).
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of local area and route planning.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Strong focus on safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle in line with laws and procedures.
• Complete multi-drop deliveries to commercial customers locally.
• Load and unload as needed, ensuring safe handling of goods.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
• Ensure deliveries are accurate and on schedule.
• Collect customer signatures using handheld devices.
• Deliver excellent customer service while representing the company.
• Maintain delivery paperwork and comply with regulations.

Pay Rate: £14.29 per hour

About the Role

Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting for experienced 7.5 Tonne Delivery Drivers to join one of our well-established clients based in Middleton. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading distribution business delivering workplace products to commercial customers. The role offers consistent weekday work, excellent earning potential and the opportunity to become part of a professional delivery team.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle in accordance with road traffic legislation and company procedures.
• Complete multi-drop deliveries to commercial customers across the local and surrounding areas.
• Load and unload the vehicle where required, ensuring products are handled safely.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
• Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Obtain customer signatures using handheld devices where required.
• Deliver excellent customer service while representing the business professionally.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and comply with all driving regulations.

What We're Looking For

• Full UK Driving Licence with C1 (7.5T) entitlement.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience is preferred.
• Good geographical knowledge and ability to use route planning systems.
