Job summary

Search Consultancy LTD in Livingston is seeking an experienced 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver for a permanent role with a competitive salary and solid benefits. You will join a busy distribution operation, delivering and installing furniture to customers’ homes and working with a colleague to meet daily schedules.

The role requires a valid C1 licence, tachograph card, and CPC, with a focus on safety, reliability, and customer service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Delivering and installing furniture in customers' homes.
• Working with a crew mate to complete daily delivery schedules.
• Loading and unloading furniture safely and efficiently.
• Carrying out vehicle and safety checks.
• Driving safely in line with procedures and regulations.
• Providing friendly and professional customer service.
• Completing delivery and vehicle documentation.
• Following tachograph, Health & Safety and manual handling procedures.

Location: Livingston

Salary: £35,006.40 per year

Hours: 44 hours per week - 4 days per week

Pattern: Every Sunday off

Are you an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver looking for a permanent role with a great salary, excellent benefits and opportunities to progress? We're hiring a reliable and customer-focused 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver to join a busy distribution operation in Livingston.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Delivering and installing furniture in customers' homes
• Working alongside a crew mate to complete daily delivery schedules
• Loading and unloading furniture safely and efficiently
• Carrying out vehicle and safety checks
• Driving safely in line with company procedures and regulations
• Providing friendly and professional customer service
• Completing delivery and vehicle documentation
• Following tachograph, Health & Safety and manual handling procedures
• Supporting warehouse and distribution duties when required
• Carrying out regular heavy lifting and manual handling

What We're Looking For:

• Valid Category C1 driving licence
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Previous professional driving experience
• Good knowledge of tachograph regulations
• Reliable, professional and customer-focused approach
• Comfortable working as part of a two-person delivery team
• Good understanding of Health & Safety and manual handling
• Physically fit and comfortable with regular heavy lifting
• Ability to follow company processes and procedures
