People Solutions is recruiting a 7.5T Driver for our client in Livingston to deliver sofas and furniture to customers' homes and flats. You will work as part of a delivery team with heavy lifting and manual handling throughout the day.

Role includes a 4-day rota from 6:00 to 18:00, no Sunday work, ongoing opportunities, and weekly pay. Full induction and ongoing support provided; immediate starts available.

Formación

• Valid UK Category C1 / 7.5T driving licence.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph card are required.
• Experience driving 7.5T is preferred.
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling.

Responsabilidades

• Drive a 7.5T vehicle safely and responsibly.
• Deliver sofas and furniture to customers' homes and flats.
• Load and unload furniture from the vehicle.
• Move furniture through doorways, hallways and staircases.
• Carry heavy furniture up and down stairs as required.
• Work as part of a delivery team to complete daily routes.
• Provide a friendly, professional service to customers.
• Complete vehicle checks and delivery paperwork.

7.5T Driver - Livingston

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 7.5T Driver to join our well-established client, delivering sofas and furniture directly to customers' homes and flats.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced driver who is comfortable with the physical side of furniture delivery.

The role involves working as part of a delivery team and will include heavy lifting and carrying sofas and furniture up and down stairs, so candidates must be comfortable with manual handling throughout the day.

Shifts:

• 4 days from 6, on a rota basis
• 6:00am - 6:00pm
• No Sunday working
• Rota provided in advance

Rates of Pay:

• £16.84 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a 7.5T Driver will include:

• Driving a 7.5T vehicle safely and responsibly
• Delivering sofas and furniture to customers' homes and flats
• Loading and unloading furniture from the vehicle
• Carrying sofas and heavy furniture items into customers' properties
• Manoeuvring furniture through doorways, hallways and staircases
• Carrying furniture up and down stairs where required
• Working as part of a delivery team to complete daily routes
• Providing a professional and friendly service to customers
• Completing vehicle checks and relevant delivery paperwork
• Ensuring goods are handled safely and securely at all times

Essential Skills:

The skills required as a 7.5T Driver are:

• Valid UK Category C1 / 7.5T driving licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous 7.5T driving experience preferred
• Comfortable with heavy lifting
• Must be able to lift and manoeuvre sofas and heavy furniture items
• Comfortable carrying furniture up and down stairs
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual and professional
• Ability to work well as part of a team

Desirable Experience:

Previous experience in furniture delivery, removals, home delivery or a similar role would be advantageous.

Training:

Full paid site induction and ongoing support will be provided.
