Search Consultancy LTD is hiring a 3.5 Tonne Delivery Driver in Livingston to join a busy distribution operation. The role entails delivering furniture, loading/unloading with a two-person team, and providing excellent customer service on every delivery.

The position offers a permanent, full-time contract with a 4‑day working week, 44 hours, and no Sunday shifts, plus benefits and progression opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence suitable for driving a 3.5 Tonne vehicle.
• Previous delivery, driving or logistics experience preferred.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, professional and positive attitude.
• Comfortable working as part of a two-person delivery team.

Responsibilities

• Safely driving a 3.5 Tonne delivery vehicle and following planned delivery routes.
• Loading, unloading and delivering furniture safely.
• Working alongside a crew mate to complete daily deliveries.
• Assisting with furniture delivery and installation in customers' homes.
• Providing friendly and professional customer service.
• Completing vehicle safety checks and delivery paperwork.

3.5 Tonne Delivery Driver – Livingston

Salary: £29,744 per year

Hours: 44 hours per week - 4-day working week, 6:30am start

Pattern: 3-week rotating shift pattern - No Sundays

Are you an experienced, reliable driver who takes pride in delivering excellent customer service? We’re hiring a 3.5 Tonne Delivery Driver to join a busy distribution operation in Livingston.

This is a permanent role offering a 4-day working week, no Sunday working and a 5-day rest period every three weeks.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Safely driving a 3.5 Tonne delivery vehicle and following planned delivery routes
• Loading, unloading and delivering furniture safely
• Working alongside a crew mate to complete daily deliveries
• Assisting with furniture delivery and installation in customers' homes
• Providing friendly and professional customer service
• Completing vehicle safety checks and delivery paperwork
• Reporting any vehicle, delivery or customer issues
• Following all Health & Safety and manual handling procedures
• Maintaining a clean and professional delivery vehicle
• Supporting warehouse and distribution duties when required
• Carrying out regular heavy lifting and manual handling
