Job summary

A furniture delivery company in Liverpool is seeking a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver to deliver and install furniture. The ideal candidate will possess a Category C1 vehicle licence, a driver digital tachograph card, and a CPC qualification. Responsibilities include loading and unloading, providing outstanding customer service, and ensuring safety during deliveries. You will work 44 hours across 4 days with every Sunday off. Previous furniture delivery experience can be a benefit, but we find personality and the ability to learn new skills more important.

What does the role involve?

• Delivering and installing furniture in customers’ homes
• Working through a delivery schedule with the support of your crew mate
• Working as part of a wider distribution centre team in helping to load and unload furniture onto our vehicles
• Providing a brilliant service to our customers and encouraging their feedback
• Making sure the team is safe by carrying out checks and driving safely
• Working 44 hours over 4 days with every Sunday off. Flexibility required in peak periods
• Heavy lifting

Who are we looking for?

• Previous experience within a driving role
• Category C1 vehicle licence
• Driver digital tachograph card
• Relevant drivers CPC qualification (certificate of professional competence)
• Knowledge and understanding of safety requirements of operating a vehicle and familiarity with the use and regulation of tachographs
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow process and procedures
• Strives to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction
• Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling as this role involves heavy lifting

• Experience in a warehouse environment (desirable)
