poltronesofà S.p.A. is hiring a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver at the Livingston Distribution Centre. You’ll deliver and install furniture in customers’ homes, working with a crew to follow a delivery schedule and support a wider distribution centre team on loading and unloading.

The role requires Category C1 licence, tachograph card and CPC, plus good communication and a customer‑focused mindset. This full-time position includes a 44‑hour week over four days, with Sundays off and a comprehensive

Qualifications

• Category C1 licence, tachograph card and CPC qualification required.
• Previous driving/delivery experience preferred.
• Physically fit for heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Good communication and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and installing furniture in customers’ homes.
• Working through a delivery schedule with the support of your crew mate.
• Help load/unload furniture as part of a wider distribution centre team.
• Provide excellent service and encourage customer feedback.
• Ensure safety checks and safe driving at all times.
• 44 hours over 4 days with Sundays off; peak periods may require flexibility.

What’s the opportunity?

All you need in order to apply is a Category C1 vehicle licence, a driver digital tachograph card and the relevant drivers CPC qualification (certificate of professional competence). Previous furniture delivery experience can be a benefit, but we find personality and the ability to learn new skills more important.

What does the role involve?

• Delivering and installing furniture in customers’ homes
• Working through a delivery schedule with the support of your crew mate
• Work as part of a wider distribution centre team in helping to load and unload furniture onto our vehicles
• Providing a brilliant service to our customers and encouraging their feedback
• Making sure the team is safe by carrying out checks and driving safely
• Work 44 hours over 4 days with every Sunday off. Flexibility would be required in peak periods

Who are we looking for?

• Previous experience within a driving role
• Category C1 vehicle licence
• Driver digital tachograph card
• Relevant drivers CPC qualification (certificate of professional competence)
• Knowledge and understanding of safety requirements of operating a vehicle and is familiar with the use and regulation of tacographs
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow process and procedures
• Strives to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction
• Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling as this role involves heavy lifting
