Job summary

DPD UK is seeking a reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver to manage a local route with around 40–50 stops per day. You’ll use Saturn handhelds to track deliveries and ensure on-time service, while upholding safety standards and customer care.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 08:30–18:00, with a strong focus on consistency, professionalism and contributing to the company’s sustainability goals as the UK’s leading green logistics provider.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid 7.5 Tonne licence (C1) and DQC/CPC accreditation.
• Six months' recent driving experience with 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
• Professional, approachable and thrives in fast-paced environments.
• Physically active and able to lift heavy parcels.
• Excellent customer service and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Drive a local 7.5 Tonne route and deliver parcels to stops.
• Use Saturn handheld devices for route tracking and deliveries.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service on every drop-off.
• Load and unload parcels using appropriate equipment.

With around 40 - 50 stops a day, you’ll be the ultimate problem-solver, navigating your community and making life easier for our customers. • The Main Character Energy: You’re the friendly face our customers see every day. Whether it’s a quick "hello" or a helpful drop-off, your energy defines the DPD experience.
• The Hustle: You’ll be loading and unloading parcels, using high-end gear like sack barrows and hand trucks to handle the heavy lifting safely. Think of it as a paid workout while you’re on the move.
