Job summary

DPD UK is seeking a reliable, tech‑savvy 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our Glasgow-area team. You’ll own a designated local route, delivering 40–50 stops daily with a focus on safety, efficiency, and 10/10 service.

Saturn handhelds will manage deliveries and tracking, while you confidently assist customers and navigate urban routes. This permanent, full‑time role offers £16.05 per hour with enhanced overtime, Monday to Friday, start between 07:00–08:30.

Qualifications

• Valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and DQC/CPC accreditation.
• Ideally 6 months driving experience with 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
• Professional and respectful demeanor.
• Physically capable of lifting as required.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle on designated local routes.
• Utilise Saturn handheld devices for navigation and proof of delivery.
• Provide friendly, high-quality customer service with each drop-off.
• Load/unload parcels safely using equipment as needed.

• Master the Tech: No paper maps here. You’ll use our industry-leading Saturn handheld devices. It’s basically your mission control for tracking progress, managing deliveries, and staying ahead of the game.
• The Main Character Energy: You’re the friendly face our customers see every day. Whether it’s a quick "hello" or a helpful drop‑off, your energy defines the DPD experience.
• The Hustle: You’ll be loading and unloading parcels, using high‑end gear like sack barrows and hand trucks to handle the heavy lifting safely. Think of it as a paid workout while you're on the move.
