Job summary

DPD UK is hiring a reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver for its London South Croydon operation. You will take ownership of a designated local route, delivering 40–50 stops daily with a focus on safe, timely, and friendly service.

You’ll use Saturn handheld devices for route navigation and delivery tracking, load and unload parcels with manual handling, and represent the DPD brand with professionalism on every doorstep. Mon-Fri shifts starting 07:00–08:30, permanent role.

Qualifications

• Valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and DQC/CPC accreditation.
• Ideally 6 months recent driving experience with 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
• Physically able to lift and manoeuvre parcels safely.
• Professional, approachable and customer‑facing mindset.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle on local routes with ~40–50 stops daily.
• Use Saturn handheld devices for navigation, progress tracking and proof of delivery.
• Load and unload parcels using sack barrows and hand trucks.
• Provide friendly, professional service and maintain safety at all times.
