Job summary

GI Group are currently recruiting multiple 7.5T Drivers for our internationally known client in Crawley (RH10). This company provides courier services worldwide, focusing on the express road-based market and offering services such as delivery, freight forwarding, and logistics.

Shift pattern is Monday to Friday with occasional weekends; hours start 09:30. PAYE pay £17.98 per hour standard and £23.43 per hour overtime after 40 hours, including advanced holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Valid Tachograph and CPC qualifications.
• At least 1 year experience with 7.5T roles.
• No more than 6 penalty points; no DD/IN/DR/DN/TT endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Conducting vehicle checks.
• Making deliveries/collections daily to customers and depots.
• Manual handling during loading and unloading.
• Handling device to confirm delivery status and communicate with the depot.
• Prioritising workload to meet time commitments.

Drivers shifts and Pay:

Hours of Work: 09:30am

£17.98/hr standard*

£23.43/hr OT (after 40hrs)*Please note that this pay rate is PAYE and includes advanced holiday pay

7.5T Driver main duties will include:

• Conducting vehicle checks
• Making deliveries/collections each day to customers and depots
• Manual handling is involved while loading and unloading
• Handling device to confirm delivery status and communicate with the depot
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

Driver requirements:

• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Good customer service skills
• Valid and in date Tachograph and CPC qualifications
• At least 1yr experience with 7.5T roles
