Job summary

Gi Group is recruiting for multiple 7.5T Driver positions in Sittingbourne (ME10). You will conduct vehicle checks and deliver or collect to customers and depots, with some manual handling involved.

You will use devices to confirm delivery status and coordinate with the depot, prioritising tasks to meet schedules. Shifts are Monday to Friday with occasional weekends, hours 08:00–18:00, paid at £17.98/hr (PAYE) with overtime at £23.43/hr.

Qualifications

• Valid and in date Tachograph and CPC qualifications.
• At least 1 year experience with 7.5T roles.
• No more than 6 penalty points; no DD/IN/DR/DN/TT endorsements.

Job description

GI Group are currently recruiting multiple 7.5T Drivers for our internationally known client in Sittingbourne (ME10). This company provides courier services worldwide, focusing on the express road-based market and offering services such as delivery, freight forwarding, and logistics.

Drivers shifts and Pay:

Monday to Friday - occasional weekends offered

Hours of Work: 08:00 - approx 18:00

£17.98/hr standard*

£23.43/hr OT (after 40hrs)*Please note that this pay rate is PAYE and includes advanced holiday pay

7.5T Driver main duties will include:

• Conducting vehicle checks
• Making deliveries/collections each day to customers and depots
• Manual handling is involved while loading and unloading
• Handling device to confirm delivery status and communicate with the depot
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

Driver requirements:

• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Good customer service skills
• Valid and in date Tachograph and CPC qualifications
• At least 1yr experience with 7.5T roles
