Job summary

DHL in the United Kingdom is seeking a 7.5 T Home Delivery Driver to support smooth, on-time delivery of white goods. A typical day includes doorstep deliveries and possible in-home installation training, with teamwork essential to success.

You will drive safely, follow Driver Hours and health & safety norms, and comply with road regulations. A valid 7.5T licence, CPC, and tachograph card are required; on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid HGV 7.5T licence (C), Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience with heavy goods delivery is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Deliver household white goods (washing machines, fridge freezers, etc.) to customers.
• Assist with in-home installation training where required.
• Maintain safety and compliance with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive.

Job description

We're now looking for a 7.5 T Home Delivery Driver to play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time. A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• You will be delivering household white goods such as washing machines, tumble dryers, fridge freezers etc...
• Wets installation training will be provided as this will be required in customers homes.
• There will be alot of heavy lifting involved in this role
• Be an Ambassador for DHL Supply Chain, have a Can Do, Right First Time and Passionate approach to your role
• Enjoy working as part of a successful team
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
