Job summary

YourRecruit Ltd is urgently seeking a temporary People Team Manager to operate across Redhill and South Croydon. The role is part-time, 3 days per week, for approximately 6 weeks, with an ASAP start and a rate of £32.00 per hour.

Work will be based on site with flexible hours between 8:45am and 5:00pm. You will provide expert HR guidance across the employee lifecycle, lead the HR team, manage complex casework, and work closely with senior stakeholders to drive a high-quality People service.

Qualifications

• Experience as People Team Manager or senior HR role.
• Strong employee relations and case management experience.
• Excellent knowledge of UK employment law.
• Experience leading HR teams.
• Experience supporting organisational change and consultations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and manage a team of HR professionals, ensuring a high-quality People service.
• Provide expert advice on employee relations, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence and performance matters.
• Manage complex and sensitive HR casework.
• Partner with managers and senior leaders, providing pragmatic HR advice.
• Support organisational change, restructures and consultation processes.
• Drive attendance management and employee wellbeing initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR policies.
• Maintain accurate employee records and contracts.
• Monitor people data and workforce trends, identifying areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with Payroll, Recruitment, Learning & Development and other stakeholders.
• Act as a senior HR point of contact during the temporary assignment.
