Reed Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be supporting a successful and growing organisation in the search for an experienced Credit Controller to join their busy finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is an office-based role working Mon - Fri 08:30 - 17:00.

The role focuses on reducing aged debt, building strong customer relationships, and processing over 4,500 invoices per month in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit control or accounts receivable.
• Strong knowledge of sales ledger management and debt collection.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems.

Responsabilités

• Manage end-to-end credit control and timely debt collection.
• Chase overdue payments via phone, email, and structured processes.
• Reconcile sales ledger balances, customer prepayments, and payments on account.
• Produce weekly reports on aged debt and cash flow to support forecasting.
• Assist with inter-company invoicing and bank reconciliations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within AR.
