Vigilant Security is seeking experienced Guest Service Ambassadors for St James Quarter in Edinburgh. You will greet visitors, deliver 5-Star front-of-house service and maintain a discreet security presence on site.

The role is full-time with rotating shifts, offering training, a bespoke uniform, and an employee benefits program. Successful candidates will demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or a customer service facing role
• 5 years of verifiable work history
• First Aid training would be an advantage
• Immaculate presentation and professional appearance

Responsibilities

• Be seen as a visible customer-focused professional by greeting clients and visitors
• Carry out regular patrols as and when required
• Anticipate and action client requirements/requests in a professional manner
• Always provide a consistently professional service
• Issue visitor passes using sign in/out policies
• Ensure fire exits are kept clear; report Health & Safety issues
• Create a safe environment for all guests and visitors
• Maintain high-security awareness
• Interact with CCTV as required
• Complete a full detailed handover at end of each shift
