Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment seeks a CNC Setter/Operator to join a modern machine shop in Chessington, Surrey. You will set and run 5-axis machining centres to produce precision components to tight tolerances, following ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.

The role offers an attractive salary in the £35.5k–£47.5k band, with an annual bonus, pension, life assurance and generous holiday, plus a Monday-Thursday schedule with early finish on Fridays.

Qualifications

• Experience setting and operating 5-axis CNC machines.
• Experience with Mazak Integrex or DMG Mori is advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience working to tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating 5-axis machining centres.
• Working with Mazak Integrex and DMG Mori machines.
• Producing precision components from engineering drawings.
• Selecting tooling and workholding equipment.
• Carrying out in-process quality checks, working to tight tolerances and maintaining high workmanship standards.
• Following ISO 9001, AS9100 and Health & Safety requirements.
