Job summary

McGlynn Personnel is seeking a CNC Miller Programmer in West Surrey (Guildford/Woking area) to work on 3 axis, 3+2 and 5 axis parts. The role offers a salary of £52,000–£60,000 depending on experience, within a 37.5 hour week and a flexible schedule.

You'll contribute to high-precision components using aluminium, titanium and stainless steel, with potential to grow into high-end optical machining as the business expands.

Qualifications

• Proven 5 axis milling experience in a precision environment.
• Experience with CAM software is essential; Fusion 360 preferred.
• Solid grounding in G-code and Fanuc controllers.

Responsibilities

• Programming 3 axis, 3+2 and 5 axis parts, ensuring fast, efficient programs.
• Run programmed jobs on tools if required.
• Input design changes to improve manufacturability and ease of automation.
