Workshop Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering manufacturer in the Bognor Regis area. They are seeking a skilled 5-axis CNC Machinist for day and night shifts, offering long-term stability, regular overtime, and the opportunity to work on precision epoxy/PU patterns, fixtures and carbon components.

The role requires setting up, programming and operating 5-axis machines, interpreting drawings, inspecting parts, following SOPs, and maintaining tooling records.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with 5-axis machining.
• Able to program, set up and operate CNC machinery.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 5-axis CNC machines.
• Machine epoxy/PU patterns, fixtures and carbon components.
• Program and edit CNC code for complex, high-precision parts.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Inspect finished components to ensure quality standards.
• Follow SOPs and machining procedures.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and carry out routine machine maintenance.
• Maintain accurate production and tooling records.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a skilled CNC Machinist to their team, with opportunities available on both day and night shifts. This is an excellent opportunity for a CNC Machinist seeking long-term stability, regular overtime and the chance to work on precision-engineered components in a modern manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 5-axis CNC machines.
• Machine epoxy/PU patterns, fixtures and carbon components.

Hours

Day Shift: Monday to Friday (hours to be confirmed).
Night Shift: Monday to Friday, 10-hour shifts (start time negotiable) with an additional £5.00 per hour shift allowance
