Workshop Recruitment represents a well-established engineering manufacturer in Bognor Regis, seeking a skilled 5-axis CNC Machinist for day and night shifts. You will set up and operate 5-axis CNC machines, program and edit CNC code, and inspect components to uphold high-precision standards.

You will read engineering drawings, troubleshoot machining issues, and maintain records. Overtime opportunities and a modern manufacturing environment are offered, with a focus on long-term stability.

Formación

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with 5-axis machining.
• Confident programming, setting and operating CNC machinery.
• Strong understanding of machining processes and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamworking abilities.
• Commitment to safe working practices.
• Flexibility to work overtime when required.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate 5-axis CNC machines.
• Machine epoxy/PU patterns, fixtures and carbon components.
• Program and edit CNC code for complex, high-precision parts.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Inspect finished components to ensure quality standards are met.
• Follow SOPs and machining procedures.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and carry out routine machine maintenance.
• Maintain accurate production and tooling records.
