Job summary

Yusen Logistics (UK) Ltd is seeking a 4PL Contract Manager for our Northampton SDC site. This hybrid role allows up to three days remote per week and involves regular travel, including European trips.

The salary range is £60,000 to £65,000 depending on experience, with core hours 09:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday. You will lead global pharmaceutical logistics contracts, manage P&L, and drive cost savings while ensuring service quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Extensive logistics management experience, preferably 3PL/4PL in pharma.
• Strong ability to manage stakeholder relationships and negotiate.
• Proven team leadership and people development capabilities.
• Experience managing P&L and commercial aspects of contracts.
• Final mile delivery experience is desirable across all modes.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Engage with key customer stakeholders to maintain relationships and enable growth.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews with customers.
• Lead commercial negotiations for contractual renewals and annual reviews.
• Act as a key escalation point for customers and manage issues professionally.
• Manage Profit & Loss for customer accounts and hit budget targets.
• Oversee initiatives to maximize cost savings and efficiency.
• Ensure quality and compliance requirements are upheld by team and partners.
• Develop and coach direct reports within the Yusen Logistics PDR programme.
